Jonathan Cluett, MD is a sports medicine trained orthopaedic surgeon in private practice in Northwest Massachusetts.  Dr. Cluett was raised in Seattle, Washington and studied ecology at Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts.  He then graduated from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City.  After graduating medical school he completed his residency at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Following his Chief Residency, he trained under the supervision of Dr. Thomas Knapp and Dr. Bert Mandelbaum at the Santa Monica Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Fellowship in Santa Monica, California.  He now resides in Northwest Massachusetts and practices at North Adams Regional Hospital.

 

Dr. Cluett is interested in a broad spectrum of orthopaedic problems, and focuses on sports medicine and returning athletes of all levels to their activities as quickly and efficiently as possible.  His interests include arthroscopic and minimally invasive techniques that allow a rapid restoration of function following injury.  Dr. Cluett is also interested in patient education of orthopaedic conditions, and writes for the web site Orthopedics.about.com
